HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARTER!

July 26th was Carter's 2nd birthday - yes I know I am slow posting these. Anyway he had a great day and it is hard to believe that it has been two years.

Carter was so excited for his birthday!

He really liked eating his breakfast in bed!

Trevor showing him how to open his presents

This was so cute; I told him to show me what he got and he was so excited to show me the wrapping paper!

some of the blocks

we didn't have time to put the bike together before so we just had him go out to the truck to see it.

getting ready to blow out candles

deep breath - ready to blow

The new bike (we had to get one like Abby's because he always wanted to ride it)

We are so glad this little guy came to our family two years ago. He was 5 lbs. 1 oz. and was 18 1/4 in. long. He is full of life and is a great helper. he loves to do whatever Trevor and Abby are doing. We love you Carter boy!

I'm in trouble!

So I just have to tell this story about my little Abby. She has always been a button pusher and likes to see how far she can push. Well, the other day we were at my mom's and we were helping her plant her garden. After we were done we decided to put chicken wire around it so that all the rabbits would not eat everything. My dad was helping put it up and was inside the wire finishing up. Abby came over and asked, "is Grandpa in jail?" My mom replied, "Yes, he was saying naughty words so he had to go in jail." Abby gasped and said, "oh no, did he say stupid?" "Yep he said stupid" was the reply. She then asked if she could go in there with Grandpa and my mom told he she didn't want to go in jail and that Grandpa was coming out in just a minute. She told her that we needed to stay out so the plants could grow. Well, Abby really wanted in there so a couple minutes later she started running and dancing around the outside of the garden singing, "stupid, stupid, stupid..."
Oh boy am I in trouble. She is such a cute little girl but like I said, she likes to see just how far she can push and I am afraid of what is to come. I am just thankful that she isn't pushing all the time!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABBY

June 8th was Abby's 3rd birthday. We celebrated on Sunday so that more family could come to her party. It was a pretty low key birthday. We just had family come and eat dinner, opened presents and had cake and ice cream. Here are some pictures from the day.

Abby opening her earrings from Carter

getting ready to open some more presents

trying on her new apron (Abby loves to help cook)!

giving Trevor a hug to say thank you for the bike helmet

I'm cute and I know it!

Carter liked the bike as much or more than Abby

Trevor also liked the bike (Abby is great at sharing)

Abby's new princess dress

Abby and Carter licking the cake (it was a cute cake with all the decorations on it but they took them off before I got a picture, oops)

Abby on her new bike

Abby outside with her gear ready to go for a ride.

We had a great time and Abby was so excited. She is so happy to be three so that she can go to preschool. It might be a long summer for her but she is ready! Anyway, we are thankful for Abby and her fun little spirit. We love you Abigail!

It has been cold and rainy so we haven't been able to ride bikes much but we do it every chance we get. I took this picture just to show that all three of them now have a bike and there is no more fighting. It has been heavenly whereas it used to be a big headache to ride bikes. I might like the bike best of all!

Preschool Program

Today was Trevor's program for preschool. He has officially finished his first year! I can't believe that it is over already. I am so glad we decided to send him. He loved it and learned a lot.

Trevor and his teacher, Mrs Glenna (She is amazing)!

Trevor and Abby on the stage afterwards

Trevor and Carter sporting the lion mask and glasses

Trevor saying his nursery rhyme (sorry, it is hard to see but you can click on it to see better)

Singing one of their songs. Trevor is the fourth on from the right side

We have the whole program on video but I don't know how to put it on here yet so I will try to work on that. Anyway, he had a great year at school and is ready for it to start again! We are proud of our little guy who is proving every day that he is not so little anymore. We love you Trevor!

Wicked, random photos

So from the title of this post you are probably expecting some "wicked" pictures. Well sorry to disappoint you but I am just combining a lot of information into one post.

WICKED
First of all, this last week I was able to go to the musical "Wicked!" It was so so good. I am ready to go again. It was my birthday present from Nick and my brother Kyle. I went with my mom (it was her b-day present too). We had so much fun. We sat by all of Nick's family who attended. I think there were about thirty of us all together. I wish I would have taken pictures but I left the camera in the car. Anyway, we had such a good time and I highly recommend the musical to anyone. The play wasn't the only part of the present. We stayed at Little America for the night and got to spend the day together the next day. Nick took the day off to watch the kids and my mom and I just got to spend some quality time together. We mostly just shopped and had fun being able to take our time and look at things. We also went to lunch with my Grandpa and had a really good visit with him. It was such a wonderful present! Thank you Nick and Kyle.

RANDOM PICTURES
better late than never, here are our pictures from our Easter egg hunt at Grandma Sue's house.

CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG (he visited our library a while ago)
Trevor and Abby loved being able to see Clifford

Carter was not impressed to be that close to him

NEW BIKE GEAR
Trevor needed all the gear to take to preschool for bike day so here he is all decked out. He is getting pretty good at riding it (considering we only get to practice a couple days)
BREAD BEARS
The other day we decided to make bread bears from our bread dough. The kids had a lot of fun and were so excited when they got so fat!
The Three Bears
Carter showing off his bear
Abby and her bear (yes I know her hair is crazy, it was about bed time!)
Trev man and his bear

Enjoying the hard work
Yummy Yummy for her tummy!

you really want me to eat this?
Well that is some of what we have been up to. Hopefully I will figure out how to update more often so that they aren't so long!
