Happy 1st Birthday Carter!

July 26th was Carter's 1st birthday. I can not believe that it has already been a year. (and just for the record, this is the longest I have gone with out being pregnant since I've started having kids! my mom pointed that out to me.) Anyway, we had a party for Carter on Sunday and on Friday Nick's parents came over. Carter was so cute. He had a lot of fun opening presents and he didn't really like sharing too much. When I asked him how old he was he put up his finger and was so proud that he knew how to do it. (I put up mine first)

He had fun getting messy in the cake but he didn't really like it on his fingers. He just wanted to feed it to everyone else. We had a lot of fun and are so thankful to have Carter in our family
