FIRST LOVE!

Trevor had experienced his first love. I have to be honest I didn't think it would happen this soon but here is his funny story...

I was babysitting for my friend Shelby the other day. Trevor played with Taryn the entire time. Taryn is seven and they were having fun. Well after they left Trevor was telling Nick all about it. "Dad I got to hold Taryn's hand when we played ring a round the rosies and I got to sit by her for duck duck goose." Nick proceeded to tease him about it and asked Trevor if he was going to marry her. Trevor got red in the face and said, "Well Yeah, I HAVE BEEN LOOKING ALL AROUND FOR A GIRL TO MARRY." Nick and I could not stop laughing. After a while Nick called his mom to tell her. Trevor heard him telling her the story and came over to me and said, "MOM, I CAN JUST FEEL SOMETHING IN MY TUMMY TELLING ME SHE IS MY GIRL."

So there you have it... Trevor is in love! So this is the longest engagement in history if he already knows who he is going to marry or we are in big trouble if this is starting already. what do you think?

Trevor and Abby collide

I don't know if most of you have heard but Nick started a new job! He is the accounting manager for High Country Behavioral Health. We are really excited for the new job and especially glad we get to stay in Kemmerer! So because he has a new job he is having to travel a little bit at first. He has an office in Afton and an office in Kemmerer. We decided to go with him last week to Afton and visit my aunt and uncle and watch my cousin play basketball. Thursday night we were just playing and talking. Trevor and Abby were jumping over my cousin Brandon's legs and they were going full blast. They jumped at the same time and smacked into each other. It sounded like football helmets hitting, it was so awful. It didn't take long for his eye to triple in size. He was really good about keeping ice on it all night. I tried to take pictures to document but they don't really do it justice. It is a pretty sweet shiner. Abigail doesn't have anything to show for it other than a headache that night. poor kids:(

Sunday (I must have not taken one on Saturday)

Other than the crash we had a great time in Afton! Thanks Patty for taking care of us

On the 17th, Trevor and Abby had their preschool program. They both did a great job and had a lot of fun.

Trevor's birthday!

I am not good at multi tasking and so that is my excuse for not posting this earlier. I had to get my ward party over with, then I had to Christmas shop and then I had to worry about Christmas and so now I can think about blogging again. So the next couple of days there will be a lot of new posts! Anyway, my Trevor boy turned 5 on the 9th of December. I can't believe that he is 5. He wanted to have a party with friends this year so we invited his preschool class. Of the 12 kids we invited 2 came to the party. All of the moms called me that morning and told me their kids were sick - I was pretty bummed because I had done all this planning but, Trevor helped me. He is such an optimist. He was just so excited that two kids came and we still had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from the day.

Temple trip!

This past weekend Nick and I were able to go to the temple. We don't get to the temple often enough. My wonderful mother, sister Cami and her friend Josey came down and watched the kids in the visitors center while we attended. We sure do appreciate all their help! Here are some of the pictures of the kids doing activities in the visitors center.

They had fun learning about the tree of life and Lehi's dream. We had to have a family home evening lesson on it because they wanted to learn more! They liked the lambs but they didn't want to dress up as shepherds.
