We have been pretty busy lately but here are a couple of things we have taken time to take pictures of.
A really sweet lady at Nick's work bought the kids these little pumpkins. We thought about carving but I knew that I would be nervous to see the kids with a knife in hand and so I would have ended up doing it all. So we resorted to just painting our pumpkins. They had a blast and we pretty much just let them make a mess and enjoy it because we don't care about that floor in the basement (it will be a nice floor someday). Carter was green from head to toe but he had a grin from ear to ear!
These are pictures of our snowman from the first snow storm. We started our snowman the first day that it snowed but the kids got too cold so we had to finish it a couple days later. They were so excited to give him a carrot nose.
Nick the photographer caught the action of me tackling the kids. I then threw them in the snow and the loved it and kept coming back for more!

Looks like you guys got as much snow as us. Cute snowman!
Wow on the snow. And wow on the size of the snowman, considering it was the first snow!
And my grass is still growing (will I have to mow again??).
Great idea on the pumpkins. We had some close incidents when we carved our pumpkins, and they've alread grown to look old and wizened. My sharp-fanged pumpkin now looks like an old man without his dentures in, and Halloween is still several days away! He's not going to scare anyone, except middle-aged men who are entering their "I'm getting old" crisis years... :-D
