Tent fun

Here is our tent that we made a couple of weeks ago. The kids really had fun in it but it didn't last long. We decided to make a new one in the toy room that was taller so they couldn't tear it down. It lasted a lot longer and was more fun. I somehow forgot to take a picture of it though.

Uncle Kyle's hog

We went to Logan to visit my brother and we sure had a lot of fun. He even let them sit on his Harley! What a cool uncle! Thanks Kyle.

Here are some pictures from Halloween! We sure had fun and got a lot of compliments on our cute matching dalmatians!

We kind of have a hard time getting all three to look at the camera and smile

at the trunk or treat

trying to decide what trunk to go to next

the goods!

they got vampire teeth and they were not to sure about them but the cooperated for one picture

quick little story:
we had been to quite a few cars at the trunk or treat, but we still had a lot to go. Trevor looked down at his bucket and noticed that it was getting pretty full. He looked up at me and said, "Oh mom, I think that my bucket is getting too full, we better be all done." So we were all done. I was so proud. I guess he has more self control than his mother.

Bloody Halloween

I thought that these pictures would be appropriate since it is halloween.

I sent Abby to get a squirt bottle so I could do her hair. A little while later I heard her crying. I continued fixing my hair and thought, "oh Abby what now?" She continued to cry so I decided to wait to do my make-up and go check on her. Well I'm walking into the bathroom and said, "what's the matter honey?" She said, "bleeding." I quickly got all the way in the bathroom and found her in the bath tub with blood all over her (& her costume).

I proceeded to get the story from her. She was just trying to shave like daddy!

The Culprit
Poor little girl. She is so accident prone but a lot of her accidents are self inflicted. We love you Abby and your crazy, fun personality!
We will post pictures of our cute little puppies later after we get Abby's washed.
Happy Halloween!

Our trip to Laramie

On Thursday morning we got on the long road to Laramie. Boy I sure do not miss the drive at all but once you get there Laramie is such a great place. We miss it and every time we visit we are reminded of the memories we have there and how much we really do miss it. Anyway, Nick is going to get his MBA online and so he had to take the GMAT to see if he can get into the program. His test was Thursday afternoon so we decided to make a whole big trip of it. My sister Amber is going to school there so we got to play with her for the weekend. Here are some pictures and highlights from our fun trip!

Sorry these are not great pictures but they are all we have. We stayed in a hotel the first night and we went swimming. Trevor and Abby had a blast. Carter did not so much. He did however like helping us blow up all of the floating toys before hand. Thanks buddy!
Here is our pizza party after we went swimming.
My beautiful sister and my adorable kids! They love her.
ROLLING MAN! This is a fun game that Amber plays with the kids
Making cookies. We didn't have any cookie cutters so we sent Nick to the store and he came home with a box of 101 of them! We shouldn't have to ever buy another cookie cutter again. Anyway, there is just about every shape you can imagine and the kids had a really hard time choosing. They sure had fun though and we made a huge mess! Thanks Amber for being such a good sport and letting us trash your cute apartment.
Carter cleaning the floor after the cookies!
jumping and playing on Amber's bed. Aunt Amber is the coolest! She lets us jump on the bed.
We also went to the dinosaur museum and children's museum but of course I forgot my camera. The kids had a lot of fun at both places.
We had such a great time with Amber and it was good to be back in Laramie. Thank you Amber so much, we love you!
Last but not least, we got some ring pops for the kids on the way home. They had never heard of or seen them so they were so excited and thought they were the coolest things. We had to stop later on down the road and clean up the sticky messes!

yes I know, Abby's seat belt covers are not doing there job here. We later fixed that!

Abby thought it was neat to wear my sunglasses!

We went to church on Sunday and saw a lot of good friends and that is always a lot of fun. This was very good trip and we hope to do it again soon!

Annual Bull Sale

Oct. 22nd was the annual bull sale at the Micheli Hereford Ranch. This is the ranch that I grew up on in case some of you are not aware of that. Every year the ranch feeds a bunch of people lunch and then holds the big bull sale. Other ranchers come and in a live auction bid on the bulls. This year we sold 70 bulls, some Hereford and some Angus. It went really well and the kids had a blast. Trevor says that his favorite thing was the donuts and digging in the dirt. Abby and Carter loved watching the bulls and they both took naps in the barn. I actually used to help quite a bit with the bull sale but I have to admit that with kids I am no help at all and that I am just there for the entertainment and watching my children enjoy themselves. Thanks everyone for the fun and for letting us come be in the way!

This is Trevor digging in the dirt. I kept trying to get him to come see the bulls but he was content to stay in the dirt all day, and he did!

What we've been up to

We have been pretty busy lately but here are a couple of things we have taken time to take pictures of.

A really sweet lady at Nick's work bought the kids these little pumpkins. We thought about carving but I knew that I would be nervous to see the kids with a knife in hand and so I would have ended up doing it all. So we resorted to just painting our pumpkins. They had a blast and we pretty much just let them make a mess and enjoy it because we don't care about that floor in the basement (it will be a nice floor someday). Carter was green from head to toe but he had a grin from ear to ear!

These are pictures of our snowman from the first snow storm. We started our snowman the first day that it snowed but the kids got too cold so we had to finish it a couple days later. They were so excited to give him a carrot nose.

Nick the photographer caught the action of me tackling the kids. I then threw them in the snow and the loved it and kept coming back for more!
